If there was a list of shows that ended to soon, this one would definitely be on there! After a complete breakdown in the booth, baseball announcer Jim Brockmire (Hank Azaria) is fired on the spot and steps away from the game. Ten years later, Jim decides he wants to get back into the game. No major league team wants him but a minor league team called the Frackers needs a spark to make baseball relevant again in their town. He's still the same outspoken drunk he was before but the more time he spends in this town, the more he starts to change as a person.
